Egg powder refers to a dried egg product made from fresh eggs after beating, separation, filtration, homogenization, pasteurization, and spray drying. The egg powder-specific spray drying equipment produced by our company is a process widely used in liquid process forming and drying industries. It is suitable for generating powdered and granular solid products from solutions, emulsions, suspensions and plastic paste liquid raw materials. Therefore, when the particle size distribution, residual moisture content, bulk density and particle shape of the finished product must meet the highest standards, spray drying is an ideal process.
1. Principle of the scheme
System working principle: The air is filtered and heated, and enters the air distributor at the top of the dryer. The hot air enters the drying chamber in a spiral shape and uniformly. The liquid passes through the high-speed centrifugal atomizer at the top of the tower body, (rotates) sprayed into extremely fine mist liquid beads, and can be dried into a finished product in a very short time in parallel contact with the hot air. The finished product is continuously output from the bottom of the drying tower and the cyclone separator, and the exhaust gas is emptied by the fan.
Working principle of atomizer: When the liquid is fed into the feed pipe of the atomizer, it is quickly sent to the high-speed rotating atomizing disk after one or two liquid distributions. Due to the centrifugal force, the liquid stretches into a thin film on the surface of the rotating atomizing disk and moves toward the edge of the disk at an increasing speed. When it leaves the edge of the disk, the liquid is atomized, with droplet, filament and film splitting. Which splitting is the main one is related to the atomizer speed, feed amount, liquid properties and the shape and diameter of the atomizing disk, and the droplet size mainly depends on the circumferential speed of the atomizing disk.
2. Features of the solution
The drying speed is fast. The surface area of the liquid is greatly increased after being atomized by the high-speed centrifugal atomizer. In the hot air flow, 95%-98% of the water can be evaporated instantly. It only takes a few seconds to complete the drying time, which is particularly suitable for the drying of heat-sensitive materials.
The product has good uniformity, fluidity and solubility, high purity and good quality. The production process is simplified and the operation and control are convenient. Liquids with a moisture content of 40-60% (up to 90% for special materials) can be dried into powder products at one time. After drying, there is no need for crushing and screening, which reduces the production process and improves product purity. The particle size, bulk density and moisture of the product can be adjusted within a certain range by changing the operating conditions, which is very convenient to control and manage.
